The basic principles and values of TRYCON within the scope of OHS are given below.
- Exemplary and supportive managers in occupational safety
- Management style based on continuous development and preventive risk management
- Conscious and trained employees
- Inclusion of Subcontractors in the system and performance tracking
- Compliance tracking
- Encouraging and rewarding good practice
RISK ASSESSMENT
The proactive approach starts with identifying, assessing and managing risks. Pre-work risk assessments, Work Hazard Analysis and on-the-job meetings constitute the main steps of TRYCON OHS risk management and the measures determined in risk analyzes are used to prevent accidents. As TRYCON, we believe that all accidents are preventable with the right perspective, right planning and effective practices. Therefore, every activity carried out throughout TRYCON is evaluated with the risks it has, and the relevant procedures are created by taking these risks into account. TRYCON OHS procedures are prepared and implemented in 5 different categories.
ZERO ACCIDENT
Since ALL ACCIDENTS ARE PREVENTABLE, we maintain the "Zero Accident" target in all our activities and our employees and stakeholders also work to achieve this goal. The Company Management believes that nothing can compromise this goal for our employees and stakeholders, and strongly supports and appreciates the initiatives and efforts to achieve this goal.
To achieve TRYCON's ultimate goal of "Zero Accident":
A strong commitment is demonstrated by the Company Management by "being straightforward" and "setting an example".
Employee participation; All TRYCON Employees are authorized to speak “without hesitation” when it comes to occupational safety.
TRAINING
We believe that a well-structured training system is very important in transferring the TRYCON OHS System to employees. This transfer is extremely important for the applicability of our OHS Management system.
SUBCONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT
We do not separate our subcontractors from our own employees. We apply the same OHS standards to all our subcontractors that we hold ourselves accountable, and we expect our subcontractors to comply with these standards.
OHS PERFORMANCE
The OHS performances of our projects are monitored through proactive and reactive parameters. Accident investigation and reporting is an important part of our OHS Management System to prevent accidents from occurring again. For this purpose, all accidents and incidents are investigated in detail in order to determine their root causes. “Lessons Learned” as a result of the research are shared with the entire TRYCON Organization so that necessary precautions can be taken. Based on our experience and lessons learned from previous events, the TRYCON 12 Critical Activities have been determined. In all studies, it is expected that the risks related to these 12 Critical activities will be managed effectively.
12 CRITICAL ACTIVITIES
- Simultaneous Activities
- Working at Height
- Elevated Work Platforms
- Driving
- Floor Spaces
- Vehicle & Equipment and Human Interaction
- Excavation Works
- Machine Guards
- Closed Areas
- Tag-out and Lock-out
- Lifting, Stud Operations and Personnel Work Platforms
HEALTH
The health of our employees is very important to us. Our healthcare teams take part in all our activities and our employees can access medical support whenever they need it, without any restrictions. Occupational Health and Hygiene procedures constitute one of the 5 main headings of TRYCON OHS Request. Practices related to Health and Hygiene are carried out in accordance with the procedures under this heading.
